Join us on the first Wednesday of each month for our baking classes with our own in-house bakers! This instructional class will review the baking steps and history of the pastry being demonstrated. I am proud to have my nephew join me…. he will be home from his senior year at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He wanted to make pots du creme… so, that is what we will be making.
Pot de crème, plural pots de crème, is a loose French dessert custard dating to the 17th century. The name means “pot of custard” or “pot of cream”, which also refers to the porcelain cups in which the dessert is served. It is usually looser than other custards, flans, or crème caramel.
