We have been coming to McCarthy’s Red Stag since the very start of the bar. From breakfast to after dinner drinks, we always enjoy our time. Whenever family comes into town we bring them for a good meal and great live music. The wings are fantastic! Pair them with any of the whiskeys. It makes for a perfect night.

Join McCarthy’s as the pair expertly performs some of the “brother” style duets of the bluegrass world, and the drives and tight vocal harmonies of traditional Irish folk songs. Instrumentally, the duet expertly performs in various combinations on guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, and tenor banjo. Their musical interplay at times hauntingly spare and beautiful, such as on an Irish ballad, and at other times a powerful drive of cascading notes that can bring down the house.
